ABOUT US

Brackley & District Wildlife Trust Group have responsibility for Farthinghoe Nature Reserve, ensuring it is maintained to maximise the benefits to wildlife by creating a range of habitats.

The Wildlife Trust has also been involved in projects in Brackley itself. The Green Wheel Project is funded by the current housing developments where a number of 'green' sites have been identified and are being managed to enhance wildlife.

On a smaller scale is Jenny's Pond, although a small oasis in itself, is adjoined by a play area, allotments and St. Peters Churchyard to create a large wildlife friendly area.

Wildlife isn't just about spotting large mammals, it's the biodiversity that supports them that is equally interesting if you take the time to look.
